WGSN Acquires Denimhead

As of January 31st, 2011, Denimhead has been acquired by WGSN. "We are extremely proud to be affiliated with WGSN and felt it vital at this point in our development to seek a partner who would be able to cement Denimhead's positioning and accelerate its growth and take it to the next level.  I will continue to stay on with Denimhead as a consultant" says Perilman. Deminhead will continue to be represented in Australasia by Ginger Trend Consulting.

Over the years, Denimhead has grown to become internationally recognized as the leading authority on denim and casual sportswear information in the industry. Jill Perilman started Denimhead back in 2004 with one trend book which eventually grew to 6 titles with the website launching in 2008.  Denimhead have had great joy in continually striving to improve and update their service over the years while maintaining a reputation as being a vital and necessary tool for designers and merchandisers.

Fashion Exposed and Preview

Australasia’s premier trade fashion event, FASHION EXPOSED will return in Melbourne from 29-31 August 2010.

With a reputation for launching new labels, cutting edge designers and showcasing the big brands, the Melbourne 2010 fashion event will be no exception. There will be over 1500+ new ranges in womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, streetwear and more.

FASHION EXPOSED & preview will be co-located with the Australian Shoe Fair and the Bags and Accessories Fair, being the most comprehensive fashion event on your buying calendar.

To kick start the fair, this presentation will provide buyers with the new season directions. Taking specific examples from the show floor, Eryn & Jo will reveal new season trends in menswear, womenswear, childrenswear as well as provide insight into what’s to come on the international scene. exclusive partnership with Beautystreams.

Ginger Trend Consulting the leading provider of international trend forecasting services to Australia and New Zealand has announced it will be exclusively representing new online beauty and packaging forecasting service Beautystreams.

Launched 15th June 2010 in Paris Beautystreams (www.beautystreams.com) is an online trend company for the beauty and packaging industries. The team is comprised of seasoned professionals in fashion, beauty and forecasting. Headed up by Lan Vu, previously VP Trend Forecasting at Stylesight and Creative Director of Here & There in New York.

Mudpie’s exclusive agent for Australia and New Zealand, Ginger Trend Consulting have recently moved into new premises within the centre of Melbourne. Due to Ginger Trend Consulting’s success in the Southern Hemisphere, they have out grown their current offices and are ready to take the business to the next level by moving into Melbourne’s trendy Docklands area.
